Online Entertainment Services Disclaimer

Last updated: 2026

This disclaimer sets out the limits of what Sky Lumen Stage provides. It is written plainly on purpose, because the fastest way to disappoint a client is to let them assume a service includes something it never did.

1. Everything we deliver is entertainment

Our programs are entertainment and creative in nature. They exist to entertain an audience and to get people taking part. They are designed for enjoyment, not for measurable business outcomes.

2. Our programs are not professional advice

Nothing in a program, a script, a content plan, or anything else we deliver is professional advice. Our programs are not training, coaching, therapy, counselling, or medical, psychological, legal, financial, or educational services, and must not be relied on as any of those.

If a program touches on a subject that matters to your organisation, treat it as entertainment built around that subject, not as guidance about it.

3. No gambling and no prize games

We do not operate, arrange, host, or advise on gambling of any kind. Our quizzes, contests, and games are played for entertainment only.

We do not run games played for money, prizes, or anything of value. If your program includes a prize, then the prize, its promotion, its rules, and its legality are entirely your responsibility as the organiser, and it must not be described as provided or administered by us.

4. What we do not do

No booking with us includes ticket resale, talent representation or booking agency work, broadcasting or rights-managed distribution, or the management of regulated entertainment activities. If a request needs any of these, we will tell you and decline the work rather than take a fee for something we are not.

5. No guarantee of a reaction

Entertainment is a matter of taste. We can promise that a program is written, rehearsed, and hosted properly. We cannot promise that every participant will enjoy every segment, that a particular level of participation will be reached, or that a session will produce a specific change in mood, morale, engagement, or behaviour.

6. We depend on platforms we do not control

Programs are delivered on third-party platforms such as video conferencing services. We do not own or control them. We are not responsible for their availability, their performance, their pricing, their security, or changes they make. Where a platform fails on the day, our responsibility is to offer a new date at no extra fee, and no more than that.

7. Your technical setup is yours

A live interactive session depends on the internet connection, devices, room, screen, and sound at your end. We will tell you what a program needs. Making sure it is there on the day is your responsibility, and a session that fails because it was not there is not a failure on our side.

8. Content suitability

We write programs for the audience described in the brief. If the audience turns out to be different from what you told us, the content may not suit it. Where an audience includes minors, or where a group has particular sensitivities, tell us in the brief and we will write to that. We cannot adjust for what we were not told.

9. Third-party content

Where a program refers to third-party material such as public facts, general knowledge questions, or cultural references, that material remains the property of its owners. We do not claim rights in it and we do not license it to you.

10. Website content

The information on this website is provided for general information about our programs. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or free of error. Prices shown are starting rates, not quotations.

11. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a program is limited as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. If you are unsure

If you are not sure whether something you want falls inside what we do, ask before you book, through the contact section of our website. We would rather tell you at the enquiry stage than take a fee for work we are not able to do.

13. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
